Chief Engineer Embedded Software Development (m/f/x)
YOUR TASKS
- You will be responsible for the technical management of the employees (m/f/d) of our agile embedded software team (basic software development automotive electronics) in China.
- You will work in a global development environment for global projects and local for local projects.
- You will be responsible for managing and expanding the team in terms of development tools, human resources, and future development methods.
- Maintaining the qualification matrix and further training of employees (m/f/d).
- You will support the team in technical issues and maintain contact with project stakeholders and take part in corresponding meetings (internal/external).
- You provide impetus, deliver ideas, develop strategies, and drive the further development of basic software development together as a team.
- You will act as an interface to electronics development, production and other global SW development teams.
- You will be responsible for the introduction and sustainable establishment of ASpice, functional safety ISO26262 and cyber security.
- Plan and coordinate the resources allocated to the project through all disciplines of the V-model for SW projects.
- Clarification of the technical implementation with the involvement of stakeholders
- Ensuring that all projects are delivered in full, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
- Creating a detailed project and delivery plan using specified processes and tool chains.
- Monitoring project performance including reporting and escalation to management as required.
- You maintain and ensure continuous improvement of the existing software and develop it further.
- Responsible for correctly recording the project hours of the Embedded Software Development team in Produra.
- You will report directly to the Head of "Software Development".
YOUR PROFILE
- Completed studies in electrical engineering, software development, computer science or comparable qualification.
- Working experience in the area of embedded software development >7 years of experience
- Experience as a team leader in embedded software development is an advantage.
- Knowledge of configuration and change management as well as requirement engineering methods.
- Experience in the area of the ASpice process.
- Experience in the area of functional safety ISO26262.
- Experience in the area of cyber security ISO21434.
- Experience in the area of Autosar Framework.
- Experience with LIN, CAN, Flexray, I²C, SPI.
- Knowledge of Polarion, CANoe, CANape, Jira, Matlab, Davinci Configurator, Davinci.
- Developer, Geny are an advantage.
- Experience in the embedded software development of automotive control units.
- Experience with E/E architecture and networking of electronics in vehicles.
- Experience with battery management systems and HV systems is an advantage.
